TELSTAR telescopes are manufactured to exacting standards and are designed for both the novice and experienced user and perfect for the student entering the world of astronomy. All models include an all-metal optical tube assembly and a full height tripod, giving the user a steady platform for the telescope and at the same time allowing hands free use. The tripod also features a tray to hold extra accessories, such as eyepieces.
Each TELSTAR model is supplied complete with a 1.5x-erecting eyepiece to allow the viewing of land objects the correct way. With normal astronomical telescopes these would appear as an upside down image.
The TELSTAR lens system refractor is ideal for lunar and planetary observing, whilst the mirror based reflectors open up deep sky viewing of distant galaxies. Depending on which model of TELSTAR telescope you choose, you could be exploring the mountain ranges of the Moon, the rings of Saturn or the moons of Jupiter.
